Apartment Tour

In July of 2014, I was lucky enough to finally snag one of those swanky, industrial, "cool-kid" lofts everyone always dreams of living in once in their lifetime. After being on a wait list for at least a year, about 6 lofts became available all at once! I had my choice of different layouts, additional bedrooms, interesting views, and diverse buildings, but to my surprise a tiny (but long) studio loft caught my eye & wouldn't let go ;)

Empty loft from entryway

When I walked into this tiny apartment it immediately felt like mine. I saw myself cuddled up in my bedroom nook on a rainy summer night, entertaining guest in my tiny minimal kitchen/living room, and dropping my bag into some thrifted vintage chair in my hallway of an entryway. It was perfect.

I've been in my studio for about 8 months now and I couldn't love it more. I must admit it was a little difficult to think of a functional furniture arrangement in a studio loft, and while I'm sure I'll adjust it many times, I think I've found a pretty good layout for now.
